La Belle Dalmatienne

She arrived wearing navy tweed and she owns the room.

In La Belle Dalmatienne, artist Jay Bryant Ward imagines a regal Dalmatian settled into a Louis XV–style pink velvet armchair as though she has always belonged there — and frankly, she has. Dressed in a navy blue tweed jacket with gleaming gold buttons and a plush pink faux-fur collar, she surveys her domain with serene authority. A cashmere fringe throw drapes lazily over the gilded arm of her chair. Behind her, deep navy paneled walls trimmed in gold molding and an elaborate marble fireplace with gilded acanthus leaf carvings complete a Parisian salon that could belong to no one else.

Part of the MÉNAGERIE – Silk & Paw Collection, this print lives at the intersection of high style and warm humor — equally at home above a bedroom fireplace, in an entryway, or anchoring a gallery wall that refuses to take itself too seriously.

Printed on gallery-quality substrates and made in the USA, La Belle Dalmatienne is available in a range of sizes and formats to suit your space.
