Young Buckaroo
Young Buckaroo — Jay Bryant Ward
He's got his hat tipped just right, his bandana knotted with pride, and his boots ready for whatever the trail brings next. Young Buckaroo is a richly painted oil portrait in the tradition of mid-20th century American Western illustration — warm, confident, and full of the kind of wholesome grit that defined an era.
Artist Jay Bryant Ward renders this young cowboy with loose, impressionistic brushwork and golden light that feels lifted straight from the open range. The boy stands tall against a rocky, earth-toned Western landscape, dressed head to toe in authentic cowboy attire: a wide-brimmed gray felt hat, cream Western shirt, orange and yellow patterned bandana, dark denim jeans, and an ornate leather belt with a decorative buckle and holster.
Whether it's anchoring a child's bedroom, adding Western character to a ranch home, or completing a curated Americana collection, Young Buckaroo brings genuine warmth, nostalgia, and adventurous spirit to any wall.
